In support of the book's release, the celebrity speaker, satirist, and host of the award-winning CBC show The Rick Mercer Report, will give a special talk—one-night only—at the Princes of Wales in Toronto, on September 17th. As arguably one of the top requested speakers in Canada, Mercer will bring to light everything great, absurd, and irreverent about Canadian culture. His analysis of the country's politics and society will make you laugh (and think) deeply, as he pokes and prods into some of the most pressing issues facing the country.

Known for his legendary (and still vital) television career, Mercer is also a very popular writer. Both contained comedic run-ins with some of the nations most prominent figures and inquisitions into the inner workings of some of Canada's highest institutions.
